FAST FACTS
Coach Tressel's late father Lee played for Ohio State before WWII.
While serving as an assistant at Akron for 3 seasons, Tressel also received his Masters degree from Akron.
Tressel also served as athletics director for a period of time while at Youngstown State.
Tressel won four letters as a quarterback and won all-conference honors as a senior in 1974.
